The City of Richmond,EBRPD and Volunteers for Outdoor California (V-O-Cal) are working together to reopen the hiking trail at mid-elevation on the inland side of the ridge line in Miller/Knox Regional Shoreline. All stripes of volunteers are needed for the work party on the weekend of August 22 - 23 to, not only clear vegetation and rebuild trail, but also to greet & register people, manage tools, food service, etc. The project involves a lot of planning, and it helps greatly to know how many people plan to participate. If you register ahead of time, V-O-Cal can send you the Project Fact Sheet that includes information on schedule, where to park, what to bring with you and generally, what to expect of this project.
