
Sunday, April 20th, 2008 (9:00am): Our Lady of Mercy Church will be having another one of their famous Pancake Breakfasts. Besides pancakes, bacon, sausage, eggs, & fruit will be served and of course coffee, juice or tea. They will be having a raffle and some of the prizes will be home baked items. Friday, April 25th, 2008 (12:30): Fantastic Free For All Fridays at the Point Richmond Community Center will be sponsoring a field trip to Annie's Annuals. There is a sign-up form in the community center if you are interested.
Saturday, May 3rd, 2008 (All Day): It's the Point Richmond Methodist Church's annual Junkique Sale & Lunch. Come early and stay for great lunch and a pice of pie (if you have room!). Please view the church's website for more information.
Thursday, May 15th, 2008 (5:30pm - 8:00pm): Mark your calendars! The Stroll has arrived again! This year there are some great bands performing.....Point Richmond's very own...The Crunchy Frog, The Dave Matthews Blues Band and the Key Lime Pie. Stop by and visit all the shops and restaurants. There'll be lots of non-profit organizations around the trianagle with great info, including the Point Richmond Neighborhood Council (stop by and say hi). The Stroll is celebrating it's 19th year and was started by the Point Richmond Business Association (PRBA) as a way to say "thank-you" to the community for coming to town. Sunday, May 18th, 2008 (2:00pm): The Point Richmond History Association will be holding it's annual meeting at the Point Richmond Community Center. They will be holding elections for 2008 -2009 officers and will have a special treat... Memories Of Growing Up In The Point. The guest panel will include Betty Dornan, June Beesley Sosabel, Bruce Bartram, George LeRoy Williams & Mary Bianchini Highfill. Pat Bill Pearson will moderate the discussion. Refreshments will be served.
Sunday, May 18th, 2008 (5:00pm): Come Away to the Skies, a solo piano concert featuring Pastor Dan Damon playing gospel songs, hymns and spirituals. The concert will be recorded for release on CD. Point Richmond Methodist Church, $10.00 donation at the door.
