August

The City of Richmond,EBRPD and Volunteers for Outdoor California (V-O-Cal) are working together to reopen the hiking trail at mid-elevation on the inland side of the ridge line in Miller/Knox Regional Shoreline. All stripes of volunteers are needed for the work party on the weekend of August 22 - 23 to, not only clear vegetation and rebuild trail, but also to greet & register people, manage tools, food service, etc.  The  project involves a lot of planning, and it helps greatly to know how many people plan to participate. If you register ahead of time, V-O-Cal can send you the Project Fact Sheet that includes information on schedule, where to park, what to bring with you and generally, what to expect of this project. Because they provide all the food throughout all the weekend, having an accurate count of participants helps them make sure we have the right amount of food For information and to register, please see http://www.v-o-cal.org/projects/miller.html
