I am concerned about the possible closing or consolidation of my Richmond branch at 102 Washington Ave, Richmond, CA 94801-3947.
I understand the Postal Service is reviewing more than 3,200 postal stations, branches and other postal facilities for possible closing or consolidation. I’m concerned one or more of my facilities may be on that list for review. If so, I would like to be notified!
Additionally, would you please provide me with 1) all postal forms and other documentation gathered during the investigative process, 2) the report of issues discussed at the community meeting, and 3) your representative’s responses to customer concerns and comments. I would like to receive this information before any action is taken to close or consolidate my facility.
Your prompt attention to this matter will be greatly appreciated. Please respond to me within 10 days of your receipt of this letter.
